Had the same problem myself, coulden`t get it to work without using Scart switching boxes.

Mico 311i Blocked Message

Hi All.

I switched my Mico311i on this morning to do a bit of recording from my Sky+ only to be greeted with the following message on the front panel "BLOCKED"

I was unable to do anything with the unit, eventually resorting to pulling the plug, which appears to have resolved the problem, been alright so far .

Anyone have any idea what caused this is there a setting I could have altered,

Any info would be appreciated. :/

I got it working with the use of scart switching boxes, however it is now back with Argos
replaced with a Mico 311i from Sainsburys

Hi.

Posted this on digital spy, recieved a reply giving instruction for a workround which involves using s-vid to composite adaptor, and the audio via phono leads. Its all a bit messy, not tried it yet. another suggestion was to leave the 5005 on all the time

Anyone got any further information they could add.

I just purchased the 5005 from argos, how do I connect it up to my Sky+ box, so that I dont have to have the 5005 switched on to watch Sky, like I could with my Mico 311

Sky+ to Top Scart In on 5005/Bottom Scart out to Television Sky+ only watchable when 5005 Switched on. just a blank screen

Tv is a Sanyo CE28DN8-B(Two Scarts one of which could become spare) The manual states that AV1 Input = Composite video, RGB and audio-L/R
AV2 Input = Composite video S-VHS and Audio-L/R

Sky+ set to RGB output.

Had the Mico311 set up to work as I required no problem.


3 To 1 Scart box is available if required.

I have just installed a GigaAir 2424 £39.99 from Maplins, Sky+ living room to bedroom I can notice a slight quality loss in the picture upstairs. Quite acceptable fot the price, beats running a cable.

RE: MICO Espejo R311. DVD Recorder. I have one. First thoughts.

Hi All.

Going off topic slightly, just purchased the Mico, my first foray into standalone DVD Recorders, Playback/Recording(only tried the best setting yet) is very good, however on the box it states that it that it will playback DVD-R disks, However it dosen`t want to know the Ritek 4x Silvertop/Datawrite Reds/Bulkpaq Orange all burned on a Pioneer 105
Writer, Am I missing something here :/
