RE: 4 Free O2 Sims - with 500 free texts per top up

with these sims you have to top up £15 to get 500 sms, £10 still gets 300 sms but the combined 100 units for either messages or texts (1 unit =1 minute/text) is no longer available to new customers and only offering 50 anytime mins instead of the 100 they used to as the other option. Not as good.

RE: STONKING Orange contract bargains: Samsung D500 now only £60 over min term (UPDATE)

I received my cheque today. Didnt get a text on either my cpw or e2save claims this time. I found their online system works as I got a same day response to my query, (apparently Id sent in an early bill even though the website said send march bill and their own advisor agreed with me) I then got a letter saying the claim would be processed NEXT month, and the cheque today! The recorded delivery thing is a bit odd although Ive found other companies dont scan them either such as Amazon. Its proof you have sent it though and by doing so are sticking to E2save terms. Regarding vouchers I didnt have any either, only the more recent contracts are sent out with vouchers. I also got an automatic cheque from e2save for a recent contract I took out with them no probs.

RE: STONKING Orange contract bargains: Samsung D500 now only £60 over min term (UPDATE)

I sent mine to po box 4259 as listed on website, I called them to ask before which one to use and they said you can use either. My E2save chequeback claim was sent 3 weeks ago recorded and id heard nothing, when I called them today they said only way to check was via website, I then called CPW who I also have a claim in with, after confirming my CPW cheque was raised their guy could see that E2save had rejected my claim due to "early bill" sent in, even though it clearly states send March bill in on website. I used the contact advisor section when I logged in to dispute this with them, got a call back this afternoon saying cheque was raised and will be with me in 14 working days maximum, I advise people to check within 2 weeks after sending what is happening by using the website as their chequeback team people dont seem to deal with incoming calls anymore, only via website+will call you back. For anyone having problems logging in (I did as well, no cashback details initially) try this link instead, works every time so far ive tried. www.e2save.com/?B[0][next][0]=loginArea

RE: Is the KitKash thread a bargain?

I thought it was all crap as well until I got a free £5 Play.com voucher to use on Rockstar/Take2games with all the free codes given at rpoints forum and used it to get GTA San Andreas for £12.99. But have to say It did get ridiculously off topic last year with pointless bumpings by the same person, and not sure what bargains other people got as the discussion was usually about what you could get not what people ended up getting

This offer was posted in bargain buckets in July
http://www.dvd.reviewer.co.uk/forums/thread.asp?Forum=223&Thread=467992

The 4th Bill Ive been told by CPW twice is NOT October but November. So anyone who has a 4th Bill today or in October do not send it in as it will be rejected. I Ordered mine on 20th July, got it on 21st and got a bill dated 21st July from 3 with just line rental on no call charges. CPW state this is not a full airtime bill and that I need to send in November bill which to me is the 5th. Just thought Id post it here for anyone in a similar position. They will accept copy of bill as well.

RE: STONKING Orange contract bargains: Samsung D500 now only £60 over min term (UPDATE)

Received 6th Bill today, as I ourchased my phone before 31st May I am going to send it to the address mentioned earlier which is on the website as Customer Service Administration Team, E2save.com, 3R House, Belton Road West Extension, Loughborough LE11 5XH. The other address for phones purchased after 1st June 05 and given on the telephone recorded info line is PO Box 4259, Wednesbury WS10 7WZ.

RE: STONKING Orange contract bargains: Samsung D500 now only £60 over min term (UPDATE)

Right, I have spoken to E2save Cust service and she took my details and confirmed that I can send September OR October bill, The reason it can be either is that it depends on date of connection, those who connected later ie at the end of April or early May as I did (connection was 4th may as was delayed for a week) means our 6th bill will indeed be October but she said I can send in September bill, or even august. They do give leeway. So there should be no problem for anyone here.

RE: STONKING Orange contract bargains: Samsung D500 now only £60 over min term (UPDATE)

If it is the 5th month bill then they have misled people disgracefully by saying the 6th and then right at the end of the order info it says sept which is the 5th bill, my bills are produced on the 22nd so I dont get them for a few days after that which means I whould be ok but I am still on hold to e2save to clarify. For anyone whos bill is outsode of the 30/28 days I would raise this with Carphonewarehouse and even charlkes dunstone because it is misleading.

RE: STONKING Orange contract bargains: Samsung D500 now only £60 over min term (UPDATE)

Hmm yes I see what you mean, very confusing, also says within 28 days on main part then within 30 days at the end - am calling E2save now to clarify!

this is what mine says

Quote:
Order Completed: 27/04/2005

Description Price Monthly Cost
Samsung D500 FREE £0.00/mth
OVP Anytime 200 FREE £30.00/mth
12 Months £4.99 Line Rental FREE £0.00/mth
Orange World Access - FREE for 1st month FREE £4.00/mth

Your first 3 months will be billed at £15.00* by Orange. Orange will then bill you at £30.00 per month for the remainder of your contract.

A further credit of £60.00 will be raised by cheque after 1 month if you do not cancel your contract. This may take up to 60 days to be received by cheque. You will receive a text message and/or e-mail when this credit has been successfully raised

To gain the remainder of your line rental / cash back please send your 6th and 12th monthly bills within 28 days of receipt to us and we will credit you by cheque with £97.56 each time.

This will save you £300.12 over the 12 month duration of the contract. In effect this means that your average line rental per month over the contract period is £4.99 per month.

*Line rental charge excludes any part month amount that may be billed in addition by the network.

Don`t forget:
To claim your chequeback (cashback) send the invoice that you receive in September and March within 30 days of receiving them.

RE: STONKING Orange contract bargains: Samsung D500 now only £60 over min term (UPDATE)

No, the 6th printed bill is the correct one. Ive simply numbered my bills and have 1-5, the 6th one due in a few days, the 1st bill only charges from the date of connection upto the date of the bill and then for the next month, so its all one bill. the 6th bill received is the only one needed to send

RE: 3 6630 £3.99/month on 12 month contract 500mins/100sms WSL

Yes you should be fine if you sell the phone. many others do this. As long as you use the sim in a 3 approved handset, a friend of mine did this and sold the 7600 after unlocking it. Uses the sim in an NEC E228 with no probs

Thanks for this ! I wonder about the contract start because on other forums someone says it starts at point of despatch.....phones4u shop say when you connect.....interesting !

In the docmentation you need to give e2save connections a call before they can connect you. I find it odd that any provider would charge you for line rental before you are connected. In any case the difference would only be a few days which could be queried/claimed back if needed with customer service, certainly not something that should stop anyone taking this deal

can someone tell me please...would the "3" sim card work (for calls/texts.......I`m not fussed about anything else) in an unlocked Nokia 3100?
If not a 3100,what other cheap handsets can handle the "3" network?

Thanks for any advice.

3 sims can work in quite a few non 3 Nokia such as 3120-until 3 send you a text and threaten to disconnect you for not using 3 equipment. I know someone who tried this and it lasted about 2 weeks. If you want to flog the phone on Ebay and get another cheapo 3 phone cant do better than LG8120 at www.thelink.com clearance section £49.99 with £30 credit preloaded on 3pay, will take a 3 contract sim and can also be unlocked for use on standard GSM networks by any decent market trader for £5-£10

Quote:
With the cashback at 12 months - surely the money comes via e2save and not 3. So will e2save not issue the cashback cheque if you have cancelled your 3 contract before the 12th bill arrives ?

Yes money is Via e2 save, need to get 12 month bill first before sending off. First bill is usually within 2 weeks and then every month afterwards.

Quote:
Does e2save give you details of when and how to apply for cashback ?

Yes See http://www.e2save.com/mobile/phones/disphandset.php?network=three&handset=6630CL

click on the green tab which says "12 months at £1.99 line rental" for info:

Quote:
12 Months £1.99 Line Rental on Talk & Text 600

Your first 3 months will be billed at £15.00* by 3. 3 will then bill you at £30.00 per month for the remainder of your contract.

A further credit of £120.00 will be raised by cheque after 1 month if you do not cancel your contract. This may take up to 60 days to be received by cheque. You will receive a text message and/or e-mail when this credit has been successfully raised

To gain the remainder of your line rental / cash back please send your 4th, 8th and 12th monthly bills within 28 days of receipt to us and we will credit you by cheque with £57.04 each time.

This will save you £336.12 over the 12 month duration of the contract. In effect this means that your average line rental per month over the contract period is £1.99 per month.

*Line rental charge excludes any part month amount that may be billed in addition by the network.

at what point will the new contract be in force - point of purchase or when I connect to 3 with the new phone on 27 Oct ? cheers

billing/contract starts from date you connect with 3.

RE: 3 6630 £3.99/month on 12 month contract 500mins/100sms WSL

The phone is slightly bulky but well worth it for the camera quality+the fact its symbian phone so can add lots of programs and also has replaceable fascias

The E2save deal looks even better although the difference is that you have to send 3 bills of at months 4 8 and 12 to get the cashback, CPW is all sorted by 8th month so no waiting around at end of contract. I guess if you went for the E2save deal you could in theory cancel the contract at the 12th month and send off the bill to get the cashbcack, I never like the thought of that as think it might affect the cashback otherwise you would be paying full line rental while waiting for the 12th month casdhback to arrive, but it can be done.

www.linemypocket.co.uk are giving £15 back on all Carphone warehouse and e2save connections via their website (and is proper cashback none of this rpoints points redemption rubbish) so at e2save the deal could be reduced to a crazy £9 for a whole year! or £33 at CPW.

3 6630 £3.99/month on 12 month contract 500mins/100sms WSL

Got this deal back in May. Cracking deal. Is back now, for how long who knows, I doubt it will be available after the weekend. Phone is reconditioned but brand new, shrink wrapped, no box but I got RSMMC+charger+manual+data cable, in other words, all accessories.

http://www.carphonewarehouse.com/commerce/servlet/gben-pd-ProductDisplay?PN=PORTALS.SEPT05CLE6630&origin=SPECIALOFFER

3 months@£15 from 3(half price), £130.05 cheque from CPW after 1 month, then send 4th and 8th airtime bills off and get £68.54 back, total cashback £312.12. £48 over 12 months, or £33 if you go via linemypocket website who are giving £15 on all CPW contracts.
