I have used them once only so far,& would recommend.
Placed an order Thursday,received Saturday.
They use WorldPay for payments.

I honestly don`t recommend the site to you at all!
I placed an order on the 9th December, I didn`t received an email confirmation of my order but the money had been taken from my bank so I thought nothing of it.
Christmas was fast approaching so I sent them some emails asking if everything was OK etc
I sent more and more emails with each email sounding more and more demanding and rude but they still didn`t reply. I even tryed ringing them but nothing
Christmas came and went so I sent them more emails asking for a refund instead but still nothing.
Then, last night I finally received an email from them and they said they had dispatched it (after a whole frigging onth of waiting) but I don`t want it now, Christmas has gone! I sent them countless emails demanding a refund but due to their incompetence, they didn`t do anything

I agree with the previous post. STAY AWAY FROM SELECT DVDS.
My experience is almost identical to the previous poster.
Placed order on the 13th December.
SelectDvds took payment and did not deliver.
Tried emailing and telephoning but to no avail.
I have passed on the details to Wolverhampton Trading Standards as this appears to be a scam whereby they appear attractive on price and keep the money without delivering the goods. The amount of cash involved is relatively small thereby making it easy to get away with.
This is a cowboy operation.

Perhaps Selectdvds customer services would like to comment? I have emailled them pointing out this site.
I don`t think emailing them will do any good unfortunatly :(
I must have sent them over 50 emails over the last month but they don`t ever reply, I even tryed ringing.

I have left a bad review about the site on every DVD retail review site I have come across

I agree with everyone. But guess what I left a message threatening to take Jon Cairns to court.
I now have an email saying my money is being refunded.
I had made countless emails and left oodles of messages. Strangely I actually spoke to him when I could not pay on line. I was assured he had the dvd on 18/01/05 but of course realise he was lying.
I will never use selectdvds again, I will stick to my regular reliable sites

They have network policing.

I have at last got my refund after threatening yet again.
I think the outfit is run by a youngster, he has no idea what he is doing.
I had 4 repeat emails 4 days running. Yesterday one not meant for me.
If I keep getting emails - I will put him on block
