Well NickG I tried your hack of pressing and holding down the stop button until "Restore Defaults" appeared on screen and .....IT WORKED! My player will play region 1 DVD`s with no problems at all. How easy was that! Thanks for your help, you`ve made me a very happy man. :)

:( I`ve tried this hack and all the Bush hacks I can find, but to no avail! Hope I`m not flogging a dead horse!

Just bought a Goodmans GDVD141 but can`t find a multi-regional hack that works. Have I bought the only Goodmans DVD that you can`t hack! Please help! Thanks.
