RE: Home cinema virgin

Use for movies and music, and the sound even playing CDs is a quantum leap from the set up I had before(see above). as thr thread states I am a virgin in this technology so maybe best to get other views on the musicality of Elac package. Thinking of upgrading my DVD player (current Sony DVP-S336) to one more equipped to CD playing, my budget would be £150-£180.
Any thoughts.

Does anybody out there want to advise against this? My only worry was the Htr5540rds connections.
By the way what is the difference between the Htr5540rds and the RX-V30RDS?
