RE: Help? What is advantage of Region1 DVDs?
Cheers Mike. What`s a transfer?
Anyone know cheap/reliable places for DVD chipping in UK?
I have a Region 2 Sony NS305 player and want to get it chipped for multi-region play. I`ve found a place called Techtronics, but does anyone know anywhere else? Perhaps you`ve paid a good price or had good service?
Or, maybe you`ve had a bad experience somewhere? Grateful for any help!
Is picture quality worse on Region1 DVDs?
rom reading some of these messages, there seem to be an implication that Region 1 DVDs have a worse picture (as they are not PAL?) Can anyone say more about this? Are they much worse/so bad as to be avoided?
RE: Help? What is advantage of Region1 DVDs?
Does that mean the picture quality on REgion 1 DVDs is weaker?
Also, anyone know websites where you can buy cheap Region 1 DVDs? As I mentioned in my original posting, I`ve tried a couple of UK sites and the Region 1 DVDs are sometimes more expensive!
Help? What is advantage of Region1 DVDs?
Simple query - what is advantage of having a DVD player in the UK which can play Region 1 DVDs? i.e. where can you buy Region 1 DVDs cheaply? I`ve compared prices on Region1/2 DVDs and the Region 1 ones are often more expensive. Grateful for any help!
