the whole point of customs is to protect our economy, if all goods that are cheaper abroad were brought abroad than our economy would suffer, loss of lobs etc cus nobody is buying goods in this country.

On a personal level it stinks, of course, but i don`t think you are going to be able to change customs laws.

you really want to find out the problem, this could affect you in another situation, write to them, ask why.

Moving home regulary mucks up your credit score as well.

dustybin - go and apply for loads of credit cards, this improves your credit rating.

you can have bad credit (i.e you havent paid things off in the past) your a risk etc or you can have no credit which is just as bad, as they have no info on you.

You can always ask them for your credit score, usually cost about £3, then you will know what the problem is.

the problem i have had is that i still have the £30 in gift vouchers that they gave me when i set up the barclycard account. I go in HMV, but i know things are so much cheaper on line so i don`t bother, i am waiting for a really good sale, probs be waiting quite a while eh.

i phoned empire today, aND AS STATED IN THE guide the band of brothers is coming straight from the supplier. The woman on the phone also said that delivery would be no later than 10 March, and yes its £15.
