Face it, the Greeks had their crack at civilisation and failed. I think your knowledge of ancient Greece is slightly lacking however. It was not that they held homosexuals in high regards, it was that there was no delineation of homo/heterosexuality. Everything was fair game. And look where it got them.

Did I say shoot them? No. We could invest in research to eliminate the problem in future though, because it seem that we do agree that it is genetic as opposed to behavioural. Perhaps remedial therapy might help them.
