My player was bought from a Sony shop in Saudi Arabia whilst I was working in the Gulf as a multi-region player back in April 2000 long before RCE was introduced. I like many others, bought the Patriot being unaware that it was the first RCE dic as such. Until now I have avoided buying Col/Tristar discs from stateside but have been recently given a lend of XXX and instead of watching it on my PC I was looking for a fix.
My player does play every other disc that there is apart from the Col/Tristar discs.
Thanx for your help and I will take your advice on board.
