RE: Help need hack for Wharfedale dvd

I can`t help you directly with a hack for this machine but if the processor type it uses can be of assistance to the more technically minded who frequent these pages then I think I can help.
If when you select "Set Up" on your handset you get a set of options (Language : Video : Audio : More Audio : Rating) across the top of the screen and a bluey/grey DVD logo on the screen the the processor is probably a :

ZORAN ZR36748 PQC

Also I think it is known as Vaddis 5A or 5E.

I hope this is of some use to you and the cleverer ones

RE: Hack for PROLINE DVD150HT

As far as I remember when I could use this hack on my grundig GDV620HT the macrovision on/off should be the last item in the hidden menu. Thanks for the replies but the 9817 hack doesn`t work on my repaired Grundig. I`m still hopeful that someone out there will come up with a hack for my Grundig as I`m sure I can`t be doing anything wrong in just entering 9817 from my remote control.

Hack for PROLINE DVD150HT

Anyone help me with a hack for this machine as I believe it uses the same processor board as my repaired Grundig GDV620HT.

RE: GRUNDIG GDV 330 SPECIAL EDITION

Hi Wonder

Have you managed to crack the 330 yet? If so I would appreciate an email with the details.

Many thanks

RE: Hack for repaired Grundig GDV620-HT

Thanks yet again Yanny but this hack doesn`t work either.

I`ve searched all the sites I can find for 4 number codes for Grundig/Goodmans/Phillips etc but to no avail so it looks like I am stuck with a region 2 only DVD player.

(just as well that last hack didn`t work as I have just ordered a region 2 copy of LOTR)

RE: Hack for repaired Grundig GDV620-HT

Nope! that one doesn`t work either.

I`m of to search for all hacks to Grundigs, Phillips, Goodmans and any other clones I can find.

RE: Hack for repaired Grundig GDV620-HT

Thanks again Yanny but neither of those 2 hacks worked but the Phillips information has given me hope. I shall try any and all 4 digit codes for Phillips, Goodmans and any other clones and see what happens.

RE: Hack for repaired Grundig GDV620-HT

Thanks Yanny for trying to solve my problem but that hack didn`t work.

Looking at what happens when I try to enter hack codes it must be a 4 digit code as I get 4 highlights come up on the screen when I try to enter hack codes.

Can anyone else help, I`m quite prepared to take the cover off and look further if anyone thinks that will help

RE: Hack for repaired Grundig GDV620-HT

One last request for a hack for my repaired Grundig GDV620-HT DVD player. If nothing is forthcoming I suppose I will have to sell my region 1 DVDs and stick to being ripped off for region 2 DVDs.

Hack for repaired Grundig GDV620-HT

My Grundig dvd player has just been repaired. Previously the Goodmans hack worked but after the repair I cannot get the hack to work. I suspect the problem may be caused by a new varient of the Main Decoder PCB.
The part No of the new PCB is : SUBMPGSEV31STE. Has anyone else experienced this problem/found the solution. Speedy solution is needed as I want to watch a region 1 copy of LOTR before I see the Twin Towers
