RE: Argos. Freeview box £29.99 (Goodmans) interactive
Popped into my local branch, Stirling, and told none in stock. reserved one for pick up as they have 30 due for delivery this evening. Question? I have 2 old Philips "On Digital" boxes and was wondering how these compare to the new freeview systems.
RE: Sainsbury`s 28inch Widescreen TV £159.99
Can anyone tell me if there are any of these TVs in Scottish stores or are they failing to make it over the border because of greedy southerns. ;)
RE: NOKIA 7600 back again 39.99
Sound a good deal. Can these phones be unlocked for use on the Vodafone network?
RE: Sainsbury`s 28inch Widescreen TV £159.99
I`ve tried all my local stores only to be told they are expecting new deliveries any day. Anyway I tried the Kirkintilloch store and was told by customer services they had 4 or 5 in stock. Left my name and charged up the motorway only to find 21" TVs in stock. Had the misses with me who explained we had travelled some distance. Manager was very apologetic and offered to locate one for us and deliver to our door. Store manager called back a couple of hours later to inform us no widescreen TVs were in any of their Scottish stores. Offered a voucher as a good will gesture which we accepted. Would be interested if anyone knows of stock in any of their Scottish stores, as my wife reckons he was just trying to get us out of his shop ASAP. Anyway still got until crimbo to bag a TV for daughters room.
