RE: cheap and early GBA SP - where?

Personally I haven`t decided yet wether to wait for the UK release or not.

If customs managed to get hold of the package it would probably cost you about £110 so it really depends on how desperately you want one!

My experience with customs is very hit and miss, but I`ve had far more packages go through without duty being charged.

RE: New price comparison site: www.price-tracker.co.uk for the cheapest games

They do now, they`ve had an update this morning including CD-Wow, MVC and Woolworths

New price comparison site: www.price-tracker.co.uk for the cheapest games

I`ve found a new web site that you may all be interested in, the site is at http://www.price-tracker.co.uk

The site is dedicated to video games and covers most of the major uk suppliers like play.com, amazon etc as well as some smaller ones. They also have a feature to search ebay for a particular game straight from the site!

Check it out

RE: Resident Evil GC

I ordered Resident Evil from dvdboxoffice last week. It was shipped on Thursday 13th and arrived this morning (Friday 21st). So they are still taking a week for delivery which isn`t bad in my opinion. Gavin (London), have you received yours yet?

Only problem is I`m at work so haven`t had chance to play it yet :(

RE: Ordering consoles from www.dvdboxoffice.com

I don`t mind if it`s more expensive than buying it in the UK, I want the US model for it`s progressive scan abilities as I own a HDTV projector. As far as I can tell the UK model does not support this.

RE: Ordering consoles from www.dvdboxoffice.com

Any idea what the customs charges are likely to be?

They have said that the price for the XBox including delivery will be £175, as you state it would be via courier (DHL).

Ordering consoles from www.dvdboxoffice.com

Has anyone had any experience of ordering consoles from dvdboxoffice? I`m thinking about importing an XBox from them as the price is very reasonable. Or can someone suggest a better alternative supplier?

RE: Resident Evil GC

I`ve ordered many GC titles from DVDBoxoffice, once they`ve emailed you shipping confirmation it usually takes a week. The delays are usually caused by them not having the item in stock.

RE: DVD Region X Help Please :o)

My copy of Region X works just fine without a memory card plugged in. The box still states that a memory card is required but I didn`t fancy forking out £25 for another card so I tried it without.

I just put the disk in with no memory card in the unit, it asks which region and away it goes.
