GameCube back-up discs

whilst searching through google for 3 inch dvds, i came across the following.

"Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment will debut a 3-inch "pocket DVD," a first for the major studios, on its first anime release, Metropolis. The mini-DVD will carry an hour of special features and is packaged with a regular-sized DVD that offers the film."

and also

"The DZ-MV100A camcorder ($2,000), the first of its kind, shows off the versatility of digital technology by letting you save MPEG-2 video and JPEG stills on a 3-inch DVD-RAM disc."

looks like 3 inch blank dvds would become available to the public, which could then be burnt on any home pc. Meaning that the anti pirate backup gamecube games dont seem all that full proof anymore.

RE: Aiwa XR-DV525 owners read this!!!!

seems to have all gone a bit quiet here?
whats the latest sixstud, did you manage to get the unlock codes? i tried the two hacks listed here, one of them just bought up lots of different codes on the LED, which changed every time i did something different.
