I heard mention of a site that was selling secondhand/refurbished DVDs within the UK. I cant find the thread that i was reading. Anyone have the web address of the site?.

I didnt realise Amazon.co.jp had any kill bill 2 box sets in stock? Anyway thet are not giving away Kill Bill VOL 1 Free are they ?!. Considering that the Kill Bill vol1 dvd is worth about£20 on its own that makes the CD-WOW deal cheaper. At least thats how it seems to me.

Ordered a dvd from them which was advertised as having english subs - when it arrived it was the Dutch version with no subs. I Contacted them to advise they had sent the wrong one out- they then asked me to return it by standard post to Belgium - which i did. In due course i received a voucher , less any shipping that i had already paid for , by e-mail. I then ordered 2 more titles using the voucher - both of these dvds failed to turn up. I contacted them again about 2 months after my first order. It was at this point that they got a bit shirty saying that they had blacklisted my address and that they had not received the disc that i had sent back to them.And that no refund would happen. Eventually after much e-mailing and complaining on my part i received a partial refund. But i was still down 3 lots of Shipping charges with no discs. I wont be using them again.

I have been doing a bit of research myself and it looks like demon.net or pipex.com are the two favourites .. the added advantage with demon is that you have a static ip address which is included in the price...both come in at less than £25 per month... i know that demon has always had a good reputation for customer service , although i advise you to check both deals out by going to the respective websites..matt

i would agree with that..these guys are the best with great prices , fast and very cheap shipping and an up to date site , as well as a great selection of special offers... i have ordered 2 titles so far each title has shipped within 48hrs... and payed less than i would anywhere else...

ordered twice from dvdimport.... both orders took at least 6 weeks to arrive...money was taken out of my account a few days after i ordered and not when the order shipped ..... sent e-mail after e-mail without any reply .....i still have an order outstanding it has been 3 months now with no shipping date given..and no sign of anything soon .......very dissapointed with the site...only plus points are free shipping and good selection.....i wont be using them again....
