Asda have dropped the price of thier newset schnieder machine to the same sub £50 pound price as the pacific 1002 does anybody know if it will play VCDs and Jpegs. I work in Asda an its quite common for these machine to be held in the back and not on display so they are not sold as quickly as the pacific model so they have back up stock if you want one you will have to ask them for it

I know how you feel pal i havn`t botherd getting any of the new rane of consoles yet im quite happy with the addictive games ive got for the dreamcast the bet thing about it is is backup ready without a mod chip so ive got loads of games i just wish other people could see the light. INFACT im going to go as for to say buy one people ther £50 brand new with a game you really really can`t grumble.

Listen to Mr Money Bags here can u buy me both while your there mate I`d like to be able to experience the power of the Station and the Gameplay of the Cube. Don`t write off the X-box yet you know just look at the luke warm reviews the Ps2 got when it first hit the shelves i think you`ve gotta give it time to settle before you make a decision. Unless you`ve got an abundence of cash like Bill Gates an this guy who can just buy everythin and the software to go with it.

2. Press the 4, 5, 6 and 1 buttons on your remote control, in order, one at a time
3. Select Enable to enable Macrovision, or Disable to disable Macrovision

You Might find mate that it`ll be fine for a while and then it will have "slight" lip sync problems and it will just get progressivly worse. I work for ASDA and off the record i wouldn`t reccomend anyone to buy one. Just be glad they offer a 3 year gurantee

If your after a budget region and macro free DVD look no further than the Decca Video DDV 2110 from power house (www.powerhouse.co.uk if u havn`t got a local shop) its superb so get one before they all go like the Dansai and the Naiko (Its actually the same as both of these models)

Thank You Very Much Mate. I went down to my local power house (wigan) an they had one left. its cost just under £120 notes includin warrenty an it seems to be tip top. The picture quality is superb. I`ll be taking my horrible rubbish lip sync troubled schnieder back to asda tomorrow

hello every1 Im after a cheaper dvd player that u can disable the macro on i can get hold of an x-wave as a local shop stocks them. Could any1 tell the best one to get an how much i should pay for one or even any other sugestions for a good quality dvd player that has macro disabled.

Im looking for a good macro and region free player now i know about these X-waves an ive seen mixed reviews on this site for them. Dont really want it to cost the earth so keep your suggestions under the £200 mark i can easily get one of these X-wave players from a local shop cud u give me some good prices for them as well cheers.

Just to Update you on the player ive got ive still had no problems with the lip sync on it but ive found that wen im fast forward in it sumtimes freezes an jumps chapters. It reelly doesnt have the quality the 855 had but i did have lip sync probems with the 855 so i dont no wots better

well ive only had it a day mate an there seems to be no problems as of yet. The picture froze once but that was because of a dirty disc ive exchanged mine for the 855 just because it has all the connections on the back e.g. optical out. The only thing ive noticed it that it seems to have been made a bit cheaper because th draw movement isnt as smooth an stuff like that but all in all im pretty happy with it ill keep u posted on any problems i have tho mate

just got a new dvd player from asda. The 856 looks just like the naiko one from Macro, cud even have bin made in the same factory it just dusnt like the naiko hack can anyone tell it me or give me sum guidence as to were to find it cheers.
