RE: Got a free SKY+ box last night, want one?

Yup got mine !!!!!

Been looking for this for a while.

When I got the Indian call centre at first was a bit unsure how easy it would be to communicate everything but I got put through to cancellation all was fine. I should get an Oscar for my acting ability "Oh really!!! .... You can do that for me can you???"

Coming to install on the 25th for me

Free Sky+ box
No £10 a month fee
Free installation
No change to current plan

Didn`t even have to go to the manager bit either, from the way it sounded if you have had sky with a premium package for more then 2 years they will do this as routine but don`t quote me on that!!!!! It was just the impression I got......

Thanks for this, was so much easier then I expected

:)

RE: Cheap Freeview???

RE: Slimline PS2 - £49.99 in Virgin (Oxford Street & Picadilly Circus) tomorrow only

just so you know Virgin Oxford Street is bigger......but!

They only have a total of 5 PS2`s at £49.99...... so basically you have no chance of getting one!

£50 or under DVD Player suggestions

Any one got any suggestions as to what is the best £50 or less DVD player? and where to buy it?

There seems to be loads on the market at the moment what with Christmas and all.
Advise on what to avoid would be helpful too!

Many Thanks,

RE: £25 off any £25 or over order @ tesco.com

Good luck WingZero, damn I always miss the good ones.... are you sure they don`t work anymore??? :p

RE: £25 off any £25 or over order @ tesco.com

Where is the cheapest place to get Lord Of The Rings - 4 disc set?

Cheapest i`ve found is Amazon in Canada, 37.99 Canadian Dollars (£15.20ish) plus small P&P.

Anyone know anywhere cheaper? and has anyone used foriegn Amazon?

RE: I JUST BOUGHT A FRIENDS SERIES 6 BOX SET FOR £15.94 INCLIDING P+P!!!

I brought my dad the Bush DVD player, got £10 off so only cost me £69.

Not sure how good it is, (Bush DVD2023) if anyone has one please let me know if it`s OK.
He doesn`t need all the bangs and whizzes of a top end player, so as long as it`s quite simple to use that`s good enough for him.

Djangos.com......loads of DVD`s @ $9.99

Has anyone ever ordered from this company?

They have lots of DVD`s all in a overstock sale.

Ali
Castaway
Don`t say a word
Gosford Park
Jeepers Creepers
Jurassic Park 3
K-Pax
Mr Deeds
Oceans 11
Riding with boys in cars
Rollerball
The Mexican
The Wedding Planner
Vanilla Sky
Plus more....

It says free postage worldwide too for orders over $25!

RE: LG 32` nicam, superflat, pureflat £379 inc del

TV arrived yesterday, picture is good and as a whole it is excellent value for money.
Wanted to connect this to my A/V amp but there are no phono sockets in the back (this is my only gripe) they are under a cover in the front.
Why do companies do this? nobody wants to have a smart looking TV in the front room with 2 ungy phono leads sticking out the front.
I understand that it is good when hooking up cameras and PS2 etc but in this day and age is it so difficult to have them in the front and back.

Eggs......WHY?

Does anyone else feel that Easter Eggs are a waste of time.
If these items are on the disc why doesn`t the production company just advertise that they are?

Surely the more on a disc the more chance they have of selling more copies.

RE: Films that deserve to be binned without a trace !!

2010...........what was that all about?

Where is the cheapest place to buy PS2 games???

I know it`s a little of the DVD track (sorry) but just wondered if anyone knew a site to get cheaper PS2 games.

I really want to get Pro Evolution 2 out in a couple of weeks, pre-ordered it on Play @ £32.99.

Anyone know anywhere cheaper?

Many Thanks

RE: LG 32` nicam, superflat, pureflat £379 inc del

Just phoned them and they are instock and delivering Thursday!!!
Noticed they have removed the 32` from the site though.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2...Where is the cheapest place to buy?

I have pre-ordered with Play and that is costing me £32.99 including p&p.

Does anyone know anywhere where it is cheaper??

RE: LG 32` nicam, superflat, pureflat £379 inc del

Cheers Frankie,

I will cal them tomorrow morninga nd see what`s happening.
So how good is the pictire on the TV, this is the first time i`ve ever had (what I would call) a huge tele!

Looked around the net for reviews but was unsuccessful, although other LG models have said it has an inferior remote....wadda you think?

I plan to hook the set up with my Toshiba SD 220E DVD and my Yamaha DSP-A5 A/V amp, Soon the Mrs will realise that TV is better then just watching Eastenders!!!!!!!

RE: LG 32` nicam, superflat, pureflat £379 inc del

I`ve ordered the 32` a while back and haven`t heard anything for about 2 weeks.

Has anyone actually received this set yet and what`s it like, ie picture quality and build etc?
The Mrs thinks it will be a massive lump in the corner of the room taking up masses of space.....is she right??......

any advice on this set will be greatly recieved.

Thanks
