Sherwood 6095RDS, what connectors?

I am looking at adding a Sherwood 6095RDS to my current system which consists of:

1 Panasonic TV - 1 Scart Connector, Video, Audio Connectors
1 NTSC Mono Video Player - Currently connected to TV with Scart.
1 Pioneer 525 DVD - Currently connected to TV through Audio and Video.
1 Surround Kit - Consisting of 2 Jamo front speakers, 1 Wharfedale Centre speaker, 1 Wharfedale Sub-Woofer, 2 Jamo Rear speakers.

What I would like to know is what sort of connectors would I need to connect all this kit to the Sherwood 6096RDS. Any help would be greatfully appreciated, and would really help me out!!

Cheers, Chris Horton

RE: Pioneer or Sony?

I have had my Pioneer 525 for a month now, and can say that I have had no problems at all. I bought my from www.techtronics.com. Fantastic service, and the player was chipped so it plays all regions and has had the macrovision taken off. The player has played everything I have thrown at it so far.

Pioneer 525 DVD and Sherwood 8095 Amp, DTS??

I have a Pioneer 525 DVD and I am looking at buying a Sherwood 8095 amp. My DVD player says DTS on it, does this mean if I buy the Sherwood amp (which has a DTS decoder built-in) I will be able to listen to DTS movies in surround 5.1 channels, using my Wharfedale Surround kit?

What Amp?? Expert advice needed

Hi I am looking at buying an A/V amplifier reciever. I have a budget of up to £300 but would like to find one around £200-£250 if possible.

I currently have a Panasonic TV with 1 Scart and Audio/Visual connectors. I have a VCR which is plugged into the TV through Scart. I have a Pioneer 525 DVD which is plugged into the TV through the Audio/Visual connectors. I have a Wharfedale surround kit waiting for my amp, which consists of a Sub, 2 front speakers, 2 rear speakers, and 1 centre one. I would be greatfully helpful if you could give me some advice on an amp in my price range that I could run all these things through. The amp must have Dolby Digital 5.1, and DTS decoders. I`m not bothered about much else as long as it sounds good and can connect all my units together. Also if you could recommend any places that sell the amp(s) you recommend, that would be great.

Your help would be greatfully appreciated.

Thanks, Chris Horton

BFPO people?

Is there anybody else out there who lives in the British Forces in Germany? If so where do you get your DVD`s from, and how do you get round the whole tax and import tax problems?

Pioneer DVD 525 Any good?

Can anyone tell me if they`ve had any good or bad experiences with the Pioneer DVD 525?

Does it play MP3? CDR? CDRW? Can it play trouble disks like The Matrix? Whats the sound and pic like?

Cheers, Chris Horton

RE: Pioneer DVD 626D? Anybody know about it?

Thanks for the help, I read the review at homecinemachoice, and its does look an impressive DVD player. Just a few questions, though

1. Does the sound run alright without an amp? Because I`m not sure I`m going to be buying one right at this minute.

2. Is your DVD multi-region?

3. Does it play CDR, CDRW or MP3s?

Pioneer DVD 626D? Anybody know about it?

Does anybody know anything about the Pioneer 626D DVD player, is it any good?, what are the pros and cons?

What DVD player?

Hi I`m looking for a first DVD player. I have around £200 to spend, I am looking for a multi-region player, with dts sound and scart connector. It would also be nice if the player could play CDR and MP3.

Any help would be much appreciated.
