RE: Cheapest IRiver ihp 120 (20 gig) ?

I have one of these and it`s absolutely brilliant. Had no problems whatsoever with it. Work in an office where 3 colleagues have i-pods and they always seem to have battery problems, or i-tunes issues.

Best thing is that you can control the whole unit from the LCD remote control, so you never have to take it out of your bag/pocket. I travel 2 hours to and from work each day, and only need to charge it once or twice a week. Sound quality is excellent as well. It may not be as pretty as the i-pod but if you want it for the music then its definately worth getting.

Bought mine for £275 a few months ago so £200 seems a bargain.

BOGOF on Film Four DVD`s @ hmv.co.uk!!!

HMV website has an offer at the moment on most Film Four DVD`s of buy one and get another free. Prices range from £9.99 - £19.99, which means in some cases it works out as £5 a film! (ish)

Bizarrely there`s no Trainspotting, Shallow Grave or A Life Less Ordinary. There`s a lot of older Ewan McGregor stuff though, and other titles well worth a look if you wanna add to your collection

Buy one, get one free at Woolworths!!!

Woolworths website has a buy one, get one free offer at the moment. Around 50 DVD`s of RRP £19.99, although many of these are the ones that are available at Play for £9.99 there are some different ones.

Does anyone know if there any more DVD`s on this offer at the retail store?

See Ali before anyone else...

...if you live in Bournemouth. Ali is on a special week long preview showing this week in the Odeon in Bournemouth. Apparently it`s the only cinema in the UK showing it (as far as I know) because it has to be shown for 7 days consecutively to be considered for the British Academy Awards (at least that`s what I heard).

Saw it yesterday, and it`s really good. Bit boring for the first hour or so but definatly picks up towards the end. Will Smith is brilliant in and deserves an Oscar.

Shows at 1pm each day this week. Odeon website has more info.

"Ali Bumaye!!!"

RE: FAKE AUTOGRAPHS (In Ilford)

For those who don`t know, Ilford is in East London (technically Essex but we don`t emphasise that point very often!!!)

I live in Ilford as well (Seven Kings to be precise). Haven`t heard much about that guy on Cranbrook Road, although there are some good deals on PSX games I hear. Wouldn`t trust the autographs at all cos the shop looks well shabby.

There is a cinema being built on the old Library Car Park site, 10 screens I think so that it competes with Romford and their Brewery Cinema.

I get my DVD`s from the main retailers in the Exchange (V-Shop, Woolies, WHSmith) but Ilford ain`t the best place in the world to buy DVD`s is it!!!

Let me know if any new places for DVD`s in Ilford appear cos I`m at uni in Bournemouth at the moment and only come back every few months.
