i have found that when i put the dvd into the second scart output/input on my tv, which automatilly goes from RGB to pal, the picture flickers on pal but not on RGB, but my dvd does not apear to stay in this mode when it is turned off and then on again. This i did not know, if i put the dvd into my third scart output/input the dvd works fine in pal this is the only option on this scart.
(i will get a new gold plated scart lead and try that as i think it might be a lead problem)
no the player was set to auto all the time

what is pal 60 as i have never hear of it before. if that is RGB i have tried it in both that and pal and it is the same in both all i know is that my tv has 3 scarts on it and the first 2 are able to take RGB or pal and i was recomended to set the dvd to RGB for the best picture

i have moved the post to the hardware forum now i hope that is where you wanted it to go as im was not sure where to post it in the first place as i am new to this i only wanted some help on this matter and never wanted to cause a problem
dansai flicker problem
can anyone please help as i seem to have developed a flicker problem with my dansai dvd i did not notice the flicker when i first started watching it. when the machine is turned on even the screen with (dvd video) is flickering this is also the same when the film is running to. and i dont know if it needs to go back to tesco for replacement or not
any help would be great

does any one know if the dansai dvd player will play cdg disks
these are karaoke disks with graphics that show up on your tv screen any help would be great as i want to find a dvd player that will play these

i have a friend who has got this machine and he wants to know if there is a hack for this machine so he can over ride the macrovision any help would be nice thanks.
