RE: I`m confused about NTSC (Toshiba 210 and Philips 28PW6515)

The 28PW6515 is available at empiredirect (for £460, £480 inc delivery) and at unbeatable (for £452, £480 inc delivery).

However these versions are without the cabinet. The cabinet version (28PW6515C) costs £546 (not incl delivery) at unbeatable and £586 at dabs.com (includes delivery)

How much did you pay for yours?
Is it best to connect the Toshiba by RGB scart or S-Video?

RE: Philips 28PW6515 - Does it have an S-Video socket?

What do you think of the 32PW6515? I`m guessing it`s pretty much exactly the same as the 28". Good sound, picture?

I can`t seem to find a review anywhere for the tv

I`m confused about NTSC (Toshiba 210 and Philips 28PW6515)

I am not sure wheather the Philips accepts an NTSC signal, but am also not sure whether I even need it too.

My Toshiba will hopefully arrive in a few days (from Richer Sounds) and as this is the multi region version will it output my region 1 ntsc discs in pal format?

Also does anyone know if the Philips 28PW6515 is a good tv to buy. It is one of the cheapest real flat widescreens I have found (£460).

Thanks

Does the Philips 28PW6515 have an S-Video socket?
All the websites selling it mention scart sockets but no S-Video.
