RE: Cheap used N64 consoles

Yes, I`ve used them only this week. The items I ordered were delivered next day (postage is free as well). Great service

RE: Typhoon Speakers

You could always get cex.co.uk to take them off your hands.
I see that generic 5.1 speaker setup`s they`ll pay £55 for.
(Plus they will collect them from you for free!)

RE: BT Cellnet for life, is there a catch?

Where have you seen the sim available on the net?
Cheers

RE: Subwoofer bargain - £199 sub for £80 odd

Did you buy it from one of the shops, and if so which one. The one near me never has stock of anything!

RE: Subwoofer bargain - £199 sub for £80 odd

Has anybody seen a review of this amp so I can compare it to some others that I have been looking at?

RE: Panasonic 32

You can get if for £565 from qed-uk.com (which is miller brothers in disguise - look at the contact address) Plus you don`t pay postage from them.
Does seem a bargain for a 32inch widescreen

RE: no more dvds on pcworld website

I feel that they must process the orders in any old order. I ordered my dvd`s on Friday around 7am. Some people who ordered later it seems managed to get the dvd`s while others got their orders cancelled. Seems really unfair. So much for first come first serve. I didn`t receive my cancellation notices until a lot later than other people, even though I must have been one of the first to order that day.

Still, it confirms what I`ve always thought of the company!!

RE: £9.99 TITLES STILL AVAILABLE AT PC WORLD ONLINE

Mummy returns in the info bit says there is 2 disks

RE: £9.99 TITLES STILL AVAILABLE AT PC WORLD ONLINE

I managed to get bridget jones diary at 3.99, mummy returns at 4.99 and rush hour 2 at 3.99 this morning.

Some of these still seem to have stock as i tried to put more of them into my basket and it let me, but you`ll have to be quick/

RE: £3.99 - £9.99 bargin pc world dvds

I looked at the web site this morning, but bridget jones in the basket for £3.99 then looked at all the others, they were all out of stock. By the time I came to continue the order the DVD in my basket was sold out

RE: Rowa DVD280 widescreen problems

I do have SKY and have no problems at all with that. It keeps the picture is whichever mode it should be in.

I`ve tried both AV1 & 2 from the TV, both have the same problem.
I`m going to try taking my dvd player to my parents and try it through their tv to try to eliminate the TV as the problem.

Thanks for the advice

Rowa DVD280 widescreen problems

I bought I Rowa DVD280 from asda at the weekend and when I use the scart socket and connect it to my Philips widescreen TV the player kept switching the TV bewteen 16:9 and 4:3 every few seconds. I took it back to asda and replaced it but this one seems to do the same.

I`ve tried different scart cables (4 of them) incase the problem was there. The setup option is set to 16:9 for display.

Has anybody else had this problem because apart from that I seems great value for money.

Cheers

RE: Scan dvd

I remember seeing them at mp3player.co.uk (or .com, i cannot remember), they used to sell than cheaper than scan did, but this was a while back. I know there are ok as my brother bought his scan dvd machine from them

Dolby digital without a digital amp

I have a marantz sr-390 dolby pro-logic amp and am wanting to buy a dvd player.

If a buy a dvd player with a dolby digital processor in it is it possible to use my current amp for dolby digital without needing to upgrade. If so how do i wire it. I know players with decoders have analogue outputs for each channel, but is it possible to wire this up to the amp.

Thanks
Andrew
