Good old fashioned hokum!
If you are at all nostalgic this series is the one for you.
There is a wealth of 60`s & 70`s content here for those who are interested in the fashions, vehicles and technical expertise of the day.
The cut scenes of Marty disappearing are very well orchestrated requiring the use of single frame advance in many cases just to see when he went! Bearing in mind the age of the series these effects were TRULY invovative and as such are largley lost on the youth of today who are constantly deluged by films and tv series propped up by the crutch of modern computer generated graphics.
The video is acceptable for its age and its dvd transition, and when the other half is watching her `Pap Idols` or `Stars in their minds` and tying up the tv set then the quality is just as clear on a decent computer system.
I did find the bass a little fuzzy but as we are caring neighbours shaking the ornaments off next doors window sill is not an option! The high and mid tones are perfectly acceptable for a series of this age.
Sorry no features, just wallow in the memories the episodes evoke.
Overall I would rank these episodes (and the others in the series) as great entertainment; no swearing, no blood, hammy fight scenes, perfect for students studying fashion, style, automotive history, home designs - ah who am I kidding, they are just good fun!!
