This auction is for a Strata (also known as Claritas ) HTPC Enclosure in beautiful condition. Those in the know will understand the quality and workmanship of this unit. It is no ordinary PC case, and will be the cornerstone of a high end home cinema system.
Manufactured exclusively in the UK employing a build quality equal to the highest audio Hi-Fi equipment available.
Quality - All aluminium construction comprising 7mm thick sides, 3mm top and base with a 10mm solid facia panel hand finished and anodised to give a superior finish. An optional super quiet power supply is available.
Compatibility - The Claritas is the standard width of Hi-Fi /AV equipment at 428mm but shallower than any conventional computer at only 260mm deep. Designed to fit into any standard hi-fi cabinet or stand, the attractive acrylic graphic panel to the front is edge-lit using a blue light for subtle effect and doubles as a DVD / CD drawer cover. Simply press the panel to eject the drawer.
Flexibility - 'The PC in your living room concept' allows the computer to be upgraded by simply replacing any outdated components as and when necessary, whilst retaining the high quality enclosure.
Based around the flexible compact micro ATX (uATX) or smaller IPX format for the computer motherboard, means that inexpensive industry standard components can be fitted. Infra-red control is also catered for via the front facia panel. Slot loading DVD / CD drives can also be used with a modified panel.
