That would seem OK. Yes it is sealed from the factory. I already have a copy of MI2 but had to buy the Mission Impossible boxset in order to get the re-released anamorphic version of the first film. The MI2 for trade is therefore an unused, sealed duplicate. Also have the outer box for the two films should you want it, as my original MI2 is part of another boxset collection.
