My early lockdown mental salve was re-watching all of Toast of London and Garth Merenghi's Darkplace late at night. There's something other-worldly about them.

Watched the first couple of episodes - brilliant!!
Had tears at the Bruce Forsyth 'reveal'..
I can only assume either Tinseltown is very different to London - as I have no clue where the Monkees comparison comes from?

It's just brilliantly bizarre. Written by Father Ted writer Arthur Mathews of course.
There's an episode where Josh Homme turns up (from Queens of the Stone Age). I spent half the episode thinking "that can't be Josh Homme?"
That Monkees was the whole vibe I got through the whole thing then the green Wooly hat nailed it for me :)
