Only recently finished rewatching the original series... currently alternating my way through Crusade (interleaved with discs from the original BSG). Come to think of it, BSG got a worthy remake, but I'm not sanguine about a remake of Babylon 5. Is it really necessary? What was the original lacking that demands a second try?

Not a reboot (yet) but a continuation.
Digital, Blu-ray and UHD on August 15th 2023. Animation looks good enough. Although Bruce Boxleitner sounds his age (same issue when Clint Eastwood and Eli Wallach dubbed the restored scenes in TGTBTU, and sounded less like their characters than the Lee van Cleef soundalike they hired).
