[VIDEO] Wandavision (and others)

Edited title

I'd heard rumblings about Wandavision and seen smaller trailers that gave nothing away, the downside of which made me not very enthusiastic for whatever this was. But then this trailer hit today and it's fair to say I'm more excited to see this now than the last few episodes of the Mandalorian

It's worth freezing the last few seconds to catch a glimpse of a couple of characters not seen in the MCU for a while.

The same can be said for Falcon & The Winter Soldier. Distant rumblings and a clunky title that didn't promise much. Seems to be going for a lofty Falcon's destiny thing, with the mildy humourous animosity between the two leads as a crutch for some buddy cop shenanigans

Next, Loki. Avoiding spoilers, it seemed unlikely that Hiddlestone's titular character couldn't realistically continue his heartwarming voyage towards redemption, but the trailer fills that hole in short order. Owen Wilson's looking old though.

Finally, 'What If..?' Fan-fiction in cartoon form

2nd episode same, ill continue watching to figure out what's going on but not enjoyed it at all, best thing about the show is Agnes the neighbour who I assumeSPOILER:
Agatha Harkness the super witch from the comics and FF Nanny who may come in handy if and when Wanda has the kid?

I am very intrigued, I hope this series finishes before my free 6 months expires, it's 9 episodes but I can't remember when mine ends.

I like how each week so far has been a parody of sitcoms from a specific era.

I managed about the first ten mins of episode one and I'm finding it toe curlingly awful.
I genuinely wanted to like it so am I missing something?

I wonder if this comes down to:

  • Did I like all of Lost?
  • Did I like I Dream of Genie?

Lost. I never got past the trailer, which was total bo**ocks.

I Dream of Jeannie. Never watched it, more of Bewitched fan (Elizabeth Montgomery )

That whole slew of sitcoms though. Lucy, Dick van Dyke, Mary Tyler Moore.
Remember folks we lived in a world of just two or three channels back then.

I am actually watching the whole of LOST at the moment, I had bought the full arc of box sets in charity shops, but never got round to watching them, so had only watched it on TV when it aired. Now with lockdown time on our hands am watching it again.

Funny thing is we all remember the rubbish ending where they were all.......{spoiler} It could have been a great ending with a si-fi or supernatural ending explaining it all, so everyone said Lost was a washout.

But...watching it again, the suspense is amazing, the acting brilliant, the hatch with the countdown (my fav bit), the lottery numbers coincidences, the smoke monster, the landlocked ship, the undersea facility, the feet statue, etc,
only bad bit is that season with torture involved, so bypassing that. So in conclusion, it was the journey of Lost that made it so good, Pity about the ending.

I loved Lost right until the end.
I was just thinking how amazing its gonna be cos they're gonna explain it all (they'd promised no loose ends....).
Then they didn't bother and the ending was what was predicted right at the beginning and the writers had said it wouldn't be..
Smoke monster wasn't explained either.
