Page 2 of BBC is making a Victorian-era War of the Worlds TV series

This started already in Canada and New Zealand, so the first episode is already out there on them series of tubes.

Kinda strange seeing so many Liverpool landmarks doubling for London.

Yeah, I recall a scene in the promo panning across by the museum and art gallery but with Big Ben in the background..

lol, there's a Jackie Chan film set in New York, but in some scenes you can see its infamous mountains in the background!

Really enjoyed the 1st episode....WWAW

Really didnt enjoy the 2nd part, really dark and very very vague with the aliens and didnt particularly like the leads and the over emphasis on the strong women showing the weak men how to do things, i think TV is going way overboard with this currently.

First episode is this coming Sunday.

Thoroughly enjoyed episode 1, but agree that the emphasis on dominant females is very ottthese days.

Well i really enjoyed the first episode, the second one just got on my (. )( .)'s with the chopping and changing in time...

Will give the third episode a go... but to be honest its pretty meh!!!!!!!

How's His Dark Materials?  I'm not familiar with the source material but I'm led to believe it follows the same trend...
