Nice start, although I'm kinda bored with everybody always falling for Saul's crazy schemes without question. Even when they suspect him, no worries that was his plan all along.
It's also funny that the cartel storyline is far more interesting that main character's.
Gus, Mike, Nacho, Lalo & the Salamancas...
Saul, Kim, Howard, the Kettlemans, etc...
I have a feeling the mid-season hiatus will be painful. You know there's going to be some agonising cliffhanger to drum up hype for the last six episodes. Thankfully it will only be a few weeks.
First two episodes were great - the third was incredible. Very clever, we know how it has to end but the tension they still managed to create was brilliant.
I imagine the next few episodes will be much more Saul/Kim centric.
What are the thoughts on the timing of Ep1 opening scene? Initially I thought it was Post Better Call Saul but Pre BB but now more sure it's post BB after Saul disappeared.

It's funny, this is pretty much how I expected it to go and yet it was still pretty shocking nonetheless.
And so begins the tortuous 7-week wait...
OMFG.
Wow, what an episode.
Apparently, the writers didn't know there was going to be a break and that episode was just written as an episode, not a mid season break WTF moment.
God, I love this program. It's in no hurry at all to get anywhere yet never feels remotely slow in its storytelling. Stunning, just stunning. And shocking.. 😥
It's gonna be a loooong 7 weeks until its return.
