Page 2 of [VIDEO] The Strain

Had my fill of Buffy the Vampire killer. I hated it, wife loved it, made me watch it, so I am vampired out.

Will tell wife about 'The strain', and put my false teeth and red cape on, she loves that role play 

This keeps getting better and better, the back story of the hunter really moving, the rat cop still on the outskirts of the story but this episode surely will hurl him into blade the vampire hunter mode (i hope) its bloody scary, i mean apart from the blood and guts the tension waiting for what you know but hope will not come from the survivors is cracking and as someone who is not really a horror fan it is freaking me out but i have to tune in to see where they are taking the story next, I especially like how clever they have been to hide in the 21st century the epidemic which is coming.....if you haven't checked it out please do so :)

Tbh I'm about ready to give up on it. One of the worst shows I've seen in a long time and a total disappointment coming from Del Toro. The sheer number of plot contrivances and illogical behaviour from the paper-thin characters is just appalling.

Still, it was renewed for a second season.

Mixed messages making me unsure whether to watch this. :( Things are so much easier with a consensus.

I don't think it's as good or bad as Mbilko or Gareth make out but it's quite watchable. It's not riveting tv and its about as scary as Underworld but it's still on my weekly watch list.

It took me until the 6th episode to realise that the old guy is Walder Frey

I noticed he was the doctor, doctor v vampires, whats not to like :)

This weeks episode raising the bar again and adding to the back story and the prisoner of war scenes are cracking. And while I am waiting for rat cop to start taking names and kicking assSPOILER:
we get a team of blades, wtf and where did they come from SPOILER:
!!! looking forward to seeing and at least now we got some badasses to even up the score :)

My wife was watching this (now in second episode) and says its not the usual vampire type stories, so now watching, and its better than I thought.

Acting is very good, especially 'the jew' Professor Abraham Setrakian

Glad  u like it, its getting better and better i think although it is threatening to become the walking vampires :)......cracking stuff :)
