just got round to The Referee's a w***er' last night :) Genius, absolutely brilliant, even the missus who couldn't give a monkey's about football was on the edge of her seat :)

Loved the way it twisted and turned as always, and had surprises.

The 'Christmas' episode (3) was fantastic. Great, simple story and superb acting.
The thing about number 9 was so well done...

Last one brilliant too.
Lots of catching up for us - this is the first season we've seen...

really, wow, you're in for a treat :)

we just watched ep3, was like watching "This is England" very Shane Meadows-esque - lots of sitting around talking, not much going on, but gripping, and you're just know something, probably bad, will happen sooner or later to make you gasp/smile/cry :)

BBC Two orders series six AND seven of Inside No. 9

Series six and seven of the multi award-winning and critically acclaimed anthology Inside No. 9 have been commissioned by BBC Two.

The two brand new series will promise more fantastically twisted tales from the brilliant minds of Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith.

Finished S5 last week. Brilliant. Something I didn't quite get at the end of Stakeout so I googled a review. It pointed a few things out I'd missed but also how many clues were littered right through the episode too.
Anyway Series 1 was great but watched the first 2 episodes of Series 2 last night. La Couchette and 12 Days of Christine (with Sheridan Smith)
The first was comedy gold at times but the second was some of the best written TV I've seen. Not a wasted line in there and my God that room was dusty at the reveal....

yes, La Couchette was brilliant, i think in all the series, there was only 1 episode I didn't like, but even then, I had to applaud them for doing somehting different.

i still have last 2 of this series to watch

Just watched Stakeout on my lunch break with the missus :)

really enjoyed that, once again, a twist at the end that noone could see coming :) Just did a little googling about it, as you say, the breadcrumbs were there all along

SPOILER:
At the end of Stakeout, was the vampire dead - with his throat cut?  If so, how? I didn't notice it - but checked it afterwards and it looked like it.
