watched 3 on NYE, and 2 tonight, probably last one tomorrow. really enjoying it, even if it is mostly v bleak :(

Just watched black mirror uss callister episode on New Years day, as my bro-in-law had the one hour episode 'taped' on DVD-R for us to watch.

it was a sort of spoof but twisted version of Star trek, really well done, had us shouting against the baddie throughout, and thinking what punishment he deserved  

If all the episodes are as clever and as funny as this one, (which i assume cannot be the case, as they are all different stories) I will have to watch the series from scratch, ASAP.

We really enjoyed USS Callister, wasn't the episode I was expecting from the pictures. I'd say they're all as clever, in their own way, but for the most part not so funny. One of them is quite funny, but it's not a comedy as such.

Since you like conspiracy theories etc, I think you'll enjoy the Big Brother is watching you element in most of the episodes, and how good can be used for bad, unintended consequences of technology etc.

Watched last one tonight "Black Museum" which was brilliant, really really good stuff again, clever man that Mr Brooker, full of good ideas/knowing where to go, who to speak to for influences and inspiration :)
