Russia isn't allowed to compete, due to a two year doping ban, but they've shown up anyway as the Russian Olympic Committee. Which all makes mockery of any kind of ban...
And to double down, the historic quadruple whatsit iceskater, tested positive for a banned medication back around Christmas, but showed up to compete anyway.

well, that's interesting, I feel sorry for Valieva, I'm not expert but at 15, I'd say blame is with her team, but I find it fitting the pressure got to her, she messed up, so there could be a medal ceremony for the "winners".
also, nice to hear Iggy Pop at the olympics during Trusova's routine, so glad she got podium :)
