I think it's just that, a column filler.
It's getting no traction so far from anyone I trust.

Well, that was an enjoyable game. Yes it was a championship side, but nice to see Abou scoring again with confidence!

Real waste of money on that Odegaard bloke wasn't it. 🙂
Lovely little assist and some really good work through the match.

Good saves and a clean sheet from Ramsdale who I'm getting a little bit of a Szczesny vibe from.

Saka! Bubble wrap the little guy between matches.

Tavares, well worth his fee.

As you say, hat trick for Auba. Who looks like he's got his appetite back.

It was actually like watching a team rather than 11 random blokes.

Let's have the same attitude and at least attempt the speed of passing against City. Yes we'll probably lose but it's how we play that will bother me, or not.

Yeah right now I think I want Ramsdale against City. He didn't put a foot wrong in that game, and it did have opportunities to.

Also, Laca scoring too.

The only thing that worries me is we play again on Saturday and that's quite soon.

Holy s*** what an awful 1st half, Arteta really must be on a shooglie peg, Wright absolutely slated the team and Arteta and couldn't agree more, after our last season I recognise when a manager has lost a team and that seems obviously the case here, best case this afternoon is Man City take foot of pedal

Just popping in, chaps.

Spurs still top of the league - check.
Arsenal still rock-bottom without a goal - check.

All is well with the world.

Spurs not won the league yet? - check

In other news, I read some of Wilshere's interview a few weeks ago where he said nobody wanted him and he had nowhere to even train and that leaving Arsenal was his biggest mistake, and kind of hoped Arteta would reach out and let him train with Arsenal...

...Well Arteta has reached out. Part of me wonders if, maybe he looks good in training, something comes of this? :)

I should hope so to.
We always used to be very charitable with allowing ex players to train with us. Bobby Pires was that much of a fixture I'm surprised he wasn't back on the payroll in some capacity.

Practically all the team back fit so let's not cock it up v Norwich.

"Arsenal and Norway midfielder Martin Odegaard, 22, says the club's ambition is to win the Champions League within the next two seasons."
So you're not in it this season and to be in it next season you need to be in top 4 this season. Smoking some good stuff over in Norway?

It's good to think big! So we beat Norwich...

Ramsdale should be our first choice keeper, he is not just more than good enough, he shouts at the back four and is really animated. Also it seems the others trust him in a way they don't trust Leno.

Ben White was obviously a great buy, and Lokonga had a good first game I thought. Would much prefer him or Partey in our midfield than Xhaka or Elneny.

Was very impressed with Tomiyasu, he looks really good, an attacking right back that can defend and play as centre back. I was worried when we bought him, he was just another Japanese player that would never make the first team and was purchased just to help the brand in the far east. I shouldn't have worried!

Saka had a great game as usual, and also the difference Smith-Rowe made when he came on, if he isn't in the England team for the World Cup then Southgate and his team is clearly not watching him at Arsenal.

My only worry is, everyone is shooting, but right now it looks like only Abou can shoot on target often enough! Still, it's something to build on.

Now, how did Tottenham do against Palace? Should be an easy win right?
