Sorry.
That's what you get for whizzing through posts on your phone.

Would've been true but the DeLorean's in for an oil change.

Well a win's a win but it would've been nice if someone told the team kick off was a 17.55 not 19.15.
A performance best forgotten, particularly by Leno, but with some highlights.

Partey keeps his 100% record, two games two bookings. He is looking good though and not needing much acclimatisation. The other new signing Gabriel is also shaping up well.
Bellerin and Auba linked perfectly once subbed on.

Somewhat amazed we finished with 11 on the pitch as the ref seemed very fussy and I confess to being surprised there were only 4 bookings on each side as it seemed like more.
Before anyone jumps on it yes there was an instance or two where you could claim we got away with it but over all I think he was a bit odd with his decisions.

I didn't realise we were playing today, oops!

I think it's because I last checked the fixtures on the BBC website and it just showed the next PL match.

I feel sorry for Wilshere:

Potentially a great footballer, just injured so much. Occasional bouts of stupidity, he's wasted playing in a local park.

I feel sorry for anyone who paid the £14.95 to watch that.
It's easy accuse me of being wise after the event but about 15 to 20 mins in I said it would be a 1.0 loss and Vardy would get it.

I doubt that Rodgers plan was a surprise to Arteta. Basically soak up any pressure for an hour then put a fresh Vardy on to pick up anything they could throw forward.
The fact that it worked is bloody annoying as we weren't really with it today. Back to plenty of possession but no shots.

Lets hope we can stick a few past Dundalk to improve the mood before.....
Oh yes, United away.

Yes. :( I mean this is progress, but gah. Lacazette should have got his head to that cross. A lot of balls nobody was making a run to. A lot of players not on the same wavelength.
