My heart was racing in the last 10 minutes, I felt at least there was a slim bit of hope.
But yes, season over. This is an exciting young team, but I just can't put my finger on what we are missing.

That's because you only have eight fingers.

In which I utter the phrase, ‘Arsenal only need to change four things. The owner, the execs, the manager and the players.’

Well given all the rumours and upset that was a surprising result and performance.
Hilarious goal for them to concede and that VAR decision for their disallowed goal, where the actual **** was the linesman looking. He was about three yards offside.
Our worst season in living memory and we're one point behind the neighbours.
This ridiculous season could end in a ridiculous manner.

Yes, thank god for VAR! Not sure Partey deserved that yellow for diving, but not seen it from enough angles to really know.
Hopefully next season, fans will make a difference.

Eeek, it's been a while since we threw away a game and won it in the last few minutes. This isn't good for my blood pressure, not that I have bad blood pressure, but it might give me it.

Haven't had to up my BP meds yet but it's amazing how much a baying opposition crowd winds you up. Quite amusing that the crowd was trying to upset Tierney by booing his every touch. He's played in enough old firm derbies that it wouldn't even register.
How in anyone's reality was that forearm smash from Benteke on Elneny not a red. We've seen players sent off for sarcastically tapping an opponent on the cheek.
That ref was going out of his way not to upset the script of Hodgson's last match.
We could still get third level European football next season.
Not that I'd be particularly looking forward to it but if it was at the expense of Tottenham it would be hilarious.
Unlikely but makes Sunday interesting.

Also how did Chambers not have a broken ankle?

Had a weekend away so the last match (Brighton) was the only one I haven't seen live this season. Very understanding Mrs Snaps let me get away with being monosyllabic for a couple of hours as I followed the whole thing via a live blog and radio.
Very satisfying performance and eighth is about where I expected we'd end up.
In one way it would have been nice to stir St Totteringham from his slumber but as they will be the ones schlepping round the ar*e end of Europe and beyond for a pointless competition that probably costs more than it earns I've already got over that.
Finished with a run of five wins and looking quite good for next season providing some decent business is done in the summer, which is by no means a given.
Let's hope none of ours get seriously crocked in the Euros.
