I must admit six changes and apart from the keeper there was a whole bench I'd rather have seen start.
With Willian on the field from the off after the first 10 mins I was expecting an absolute hammering. The defending on that Leicester goal would've shamed a school side.
Suddenly we woke up though and Leicester seemed to settle for the one nil as soon as they got it. They never really came too until Rodgers obviously ripped them a new one at half time.
A very satisfying result.
Let's hope ESR was just a slight strain though I wouldn't mind him missing Burnley as he's looked a little jaded.

Arsenal's DNA must be 99% centipede as we are running out of feet to shoot ourselves in.
We should have been three goals up and out of sight before Leno and Xhaka manged that total balls up.
Guilty of 'This is a breeze, we can coast this'. Second half still later to the ball than them but even so how that total pinball routine in the dying seconds didn't get us the win I'll never know.
A few deep breaths and hope that we've got that out of our system before Olympiacos on Thursday as in the whole scheme of things the league is a write off this season.

You might want to chill a bit about Xhaka as Arteta likes him, at least enough that he'll still be a regular next season.
Yes he's bloody frustrating at times but he seems to fit with Partey fairly well as a pair.

That last 10/15 mins we were determined to f*** it up.
Overall performance we outplayed them. Three top strikers on the pitch and they sit back and play on the break?
Bale was anonymous, we frustrated Kane completely to the extent that if he wasn't England captain and gets a free ride from refs he should have been off for the body charge foul on Gabriel.
Son pulls up with a hamstring and Llamela, despite scoring was determined to kick everyone in sight from the moment he came on.
Just a slight concern over Saka who may be on the edge fitness wise which is why he was subbed but if he hadn't been we wouldn't have seen that pass to Laca from Pepe for the penalty which was a beauty.
If we can just put Olympiacos to bed on Thursday I'll call that a very good week.
EDIT: Forgot the added bonus of an unhappy whinging Moaniho.
Totally convinced it wasn't a penalty but strangely resigned when it was given.
