Viewed with a bit of perspective the team over achieved as I don't think many of us expected more than the first knockout round or quarters at best.

You can say the draw was in our favour but there were only European teams in the semis,

Chances not taken as we should have been 3.0 up at half time Kane seemed a shadow of earlier rounds.

On the plus side in 2/4 years time with more experience and a bit of squad development by Southgate, who they should push the boat out if needed, to get him to stay. We've every right to expect to get to the semis, particularly in the Europeans.

Its all over now for England. Glad they lost or they would be saying 'remember 2018' for next fifty years 

PS....I put a tenner on a month ago for France to win the trophy, I hope they do
