Trying to match Spurs at their own game was a stupid, amateurish and costly idea.
We've conceded 7 in 18.
More of Pickford's mistakes means he's conceded 6 since breakfast. :-)

Ste

We will pay the price but we will not count the cost..

Good point, well made.

I'm honestly not that bothered after last season.  I'll just enjoy us playing more openly and getting hammered rather than parking the bus for 90 and still being beaten.

OK, three months on and it's been quite poor but it's Derby time again.

Despite coming off the back of a good win against Cardiff (who we should be beating anyway), I'm not very confident on our chances of getting anything from today's match.

Still, I'll be watching anyway...

OK, so a month on, we've just beaten Chelsea and then followed it up miraculously with another win.

The West Ham game was an odd one in that we looked good but West Ham looked to me like a Sunday pub team rather than a Premier League rival.  No idea what happened, but we clearly were not as ruthless as we should have been.  2-0 was not the result that game deserved but we were profligate in front of goal.

And as a rather sad addendum in this social media age, Jordan Pickford has been caught on camera having a bit of a scuffle in public in Sunderland...

Right, you know how this works.
Good team so you show up and beat them okay.

OKAY?
