It was always going to be a team outside the top 6/7 that would end our run.

You could say we ran out of defenders but even with them all fit we need to buy in that area.
Quite happy with Leno, every keeper makes a stuff up sometime.

Your defenders? No thanks but with what you've got going forward you shouldn't be going down.

In a way glad to get that performance out of the way before facing the enemy midweek. I know it's only the Crappybow cup but
A. It's a trophy and
B. It would help keep their shelves empty.

Then Burnley and Brighton both away.
Two more potential stumbling blocks, particularly Burnley.

Poor performance, I know Koschelny and Monreal are coming back from injury but we weren't that good going forward either. :(

Did Ozil do anything after coming on?

didn't even notice he came on if that answers your question ;)

Actually, that's not true, he helped us get our third, that's probably worse than the above answer.

Sorry, let me have this, there's not been much to be happy about this season :(

You're welcome.
I trust you'll pardon the lack of gift wrapping, still feeling a bit too sick to shop.

That was an amazing end to the season, I remember watching it live on TV so it must have been on terrestrial?

I also remember Liverpool clearly playing for a draw from the first whistle.

Not sure about from the first whistle.  We had a few great chances - even late on.  Some definite time wasting towards the end though.
It was Barnes's fault at the end for not taking to a corner and trying a stupid dribble and losing the ball that cost us.
I was there.  Punched a wall on the way out - it hurt.

We will pay the price but we will not count the cost..

That wasn't very nice punching a wool.

Three goals and a clean sheet v Blackpool was a pleasing outcome but sad to say I felt really detached from this fixture. Probably at an almost Emirates cup level.
Didn't watch it and only followed it on the radio, paying attention when the crowd volume went up. Which only happened as 5Live where right by the Arsenal fans. Most of the rest of the ground was empty due to the ongoing protests against the Oystons.

Much more awake and aware of transfer activity, or lack of it, and our Champions League chances.
