True to our end of season form.

The more depressing thought is the complete lack of backing and investment from team Kronke to change things this summer.

on the plus side, you didn't spend £1600 to go there and see it like a friend of a friend did!

Just posted this up to Arseblog as a question for his Q&A. I dare say he'll probably get similar ones so the question may well be aired anyway.

Quote:
We've always been able to point at a player(s) and say that's where Arsenal lives, the likes of Adams, Henry etc and for a long time Arsene. The only obvious candidates right now are leaving, Ramsey, or at the end Koscielny. In who does our club spirit live now.
We may well be in for a considerable number of years as a 'Newcastle' who look to be coming out of it, being bought by another sh*t load of oil money.

No matter how we might feel at the prospect of finishing out of the top 6 even that's what's on the menu while we're owned by Kronke.
He's only 5 years older than me and seemingly never sells clubs he's bought so I may well go to my box never having seen us even challenge for a title.

If he proves me wrong I'll gladly gorge on whatever humble pie you'd care to serve.

I think if you look at the Arsenal glory years, there were very clever signings. The problem for many years now has been, other big clubs got smarter and more money.

Now it doesn't matter if we have scouted the perfect playmaker or centre back, clubs with more money will scoop them up with a bigger wage packet.

We have some exciting youth prospects, but I don't see any of the big holes in our side being filled by those. :/

Fixture list for next season is out and we've got 38 really difficult matches.

At least we get two games before Liverpool and Spurs show we've not progressed again.

Anyone interested has probably seen this already after the leak but nice to have something to raise a smile before the 19/20 potential car crash starts.

How can you not love Wrighty.
