£75million is way more than the speculation in the Summer, that's crazy
Mbilko - is your current goalie any good (can we get our money back on Forster as he's turned to s***?), what about centre back and centre forward? I figure that with what we get we can buy a few good players from you, sell them on in a year or two, share the profits with you and everyone (apart from Celtic and Saints fans) is happy?

If you are after a centre forward, buy Dembele, £20 million now he will go for £100 million to barca or real in 2 or 3 years, he has all the tools and most importantly has a very smart head on his shoulders, at 19 he could have gotten treble the wages we offered him but he (and more importantly his advisors) played the long game and looked at how we had brought through some cracking players like VVD, Wanyama, Forster among others and was happy to learn his trade for 2 or 3 years under a manager himself known for promoting and bringing through young players.

I did wonder if that's why he wasn't playing last night.
Great game (eventually) though, even though that was never a penalty and Holgate should have gone. Guess we'll see if Ferminho has followed Suarez with his cultural vernacular and wondering if Gomez will get a retrospective ban similar to Niasse...

We've supposedly distanced ourselves from Mahrez and maybe even Lemar too. Either way, Coutinho's a huge loss to us and the Premiership.
Sanchez a possibility - maybe even 'bid a quid'.
As for the derby, I thought the BBC coverage/punditry was desperate for a story and glossed over the seriously s***house, dangerous push from Holgate. Firmino could have been seriously injured from that push into the hoardings. I can't imagine a more natural reaction than running back to the player. My feelings are Holgate has thought he'd get a red card and wildly and belatedly overreacted to Firmino's (foreign) comments - all said with the ref right there. He has supposedly said "Are you crazy, son of a bitch!" which is an absolute nothing comment compared to what you hear in English at any game - never mind as a reaction having almost been seriously injured. I suppose we'll hear soon enough.
Regarding the penalty, I had to laugh at how many people (including Shearer, but especially blues) who have gone from "There's contact so he goes down" comments that were from the Everton 'penalty' a few weeks back (not the more recent dive pens that were also awarded) to "That's never a pen!" comments - even though he actually has his arms around him.
Now, whether or not the contact is enough to make Lallana fall over is the debate - but we either say neither are a pen (which Klopp has) or they're both pens. Fat Sam's words from the derby a few week's back were that there was contact and how brave the ref was to give it and he was right to. Not sure what the difference is - except there's far more contact in Friday's award than the one from the league a few week's back.
Why would Gomez be investigated like Niasse? What was awarded?
Rooney was so lucky to still be on the pitch and it took me back to 10yr olds football for the ref to say "Take him off or I'll send him off.".
