Problems with Richer Sounds delivery!

Hello,

I ordered a Denon 1802 AV reciever from Richer Sounds on the 19th of March, they said they shipped it on the 21st of March via DHL secured shipping - total cost with other bits £400.

I rung just before Easter and they got hold of DHL, on my behalf - they wouldn`t give me the consignment number, and they said that they signed it in their Southampton branch on the 22nd March. Here`s the kicker, it hasn`t been dispatched. I haven`t recieved anything and to all intents and purposes my parcel is lost in there Southampton branch.

What can i do now, i rang RS yesterday and today? Both times they told me that they would get hold of DHL and let me know - i have heard nothing back from them. I`m getting cheesed off, puting it mildly, with the whole situation although it`s not RS fault but the couriers - if what they tell me is the truth. I cannot independantly verify this though.

I did buy this with my credit card so i`ll be able to get my money back but i hate being messed around, anybody got any advise on what i should do next.

Could be a very strange coincidence (but I doubt it) - I was given exactly the same excuse by Richer Sounds recently.

I`d ordered a £300 amp from them and was told - yup all fine being dispatched.

Called a couple of days later - "oh have you not got it yet?" basically they claimed that this had gone missing or was stolen from their couriers (not DHL in this instance).

They did not seem too concerened at this............

To be honest I`m getting very tired of the whole internet ordering process - apart from ordering books from Amazon - I always have trouble and hassle..................

QED-UK.COM is really starting to annoy me just now..............
