Page 1 of Region 1 from Play

Has anybody recently bought a region 1 dvd from play.com?

I went to buy one today and there was some message about the dvd being subject to import tax...just wondered if anyone has had to pay this when play have sent the disk through??

I think they have been doing this for a while, its just a warning. it only happens when you go over a certain amount, i think its about £18. anyone correct me if im wrong

they`re just making customers aware of it so when boxsets etc are ordered that occasioanally get intercepted by customs, people don`t complain when they get hit by import tax.

The classis was Play`s R1 Die Hard boxset, which must have cost them a fortune refunding all the import duty.
