Title says it all really. I ordered the BTTF trilogy from them and have noticed a £17.99 debit in my bank account. This is the only thing I can think of.

Thanks.

[EDIT] - Don`t know why I posted this in the Bargain Buckets Forum. Must of had a few windows up and running!

[EDIT.2] - Probably should of searched the forums before posting. Looks like this is being discussed in another thread! Mods - Feel free to just delete this thread! :)

Yeah, ive ordered a few pre-releases from them and yes they charge your account before despatch...

Always send the goods, offer fantastic prices...

Cant fault them at all!

CD WOW! use Worldpay as their payment provider, who always authorise and debit the card at the same time. I guess the drawback of this is that, with pre-releases, they have your money for a while. On the plus side:

1. The retailer doesn`t keep a record of personal payment details.
2. The price cannot change once the item is ordered.
3. The item can be paid for whilst money is in the account - no need to worry if the item will be dispatched shortly before pay day!

My Lord of the Rings order from them has been reduced to £13.99

They sent an email saying there would be 2 50p vouchers included in the package for future purchases.

Fair enough !
