The good news is the HDD is fine and the guys backing up the stuff for me. Just need to buy a 16gb USB.
The bad new is it's cabbaged.
Liquid damage, motherboard corroded.

I'm guessing my grandson's spilt something on it when he's been watching YouTube.

30 quid but if I give it back to him for parts I get the 30 back.
Just couldn't say yes as it's my daughters.
She's not seeing it as too much if a win as she can't afford a new one.
Hoping I can sort one out from her sis who upgraded to a mac, just because she could.
If not I'm guessing Dad may be using his flexible friend.
