Yes, I would agree that some of the behaviour on both sides (ooh, that's so Jeremy Corbyn) has been less than desired including a poor and misguided idiot to actually copied in his sister to a facebook thread last week.
I've personally called out and criticised some of that behaviour, but it is also true that some of what Lee has said publicly does not match what he is now saying in his statement. I know as he's said things to me before either he or the other admin in the facebook group banned me for asking perfectly reasonable statements and not buying directly into criticism of those who disagreed with the direction of the project.
And I wouldn't expect you to divulge anything that was discussed in a private conversation. This will ultimately go where it will go and the Vega+ will either be delivered or it won't.

I really hope it happens, for you and other backers. I'd be lying if I said I agreed with Lee's approach to moderating things at times, it doesn't help matters.
But he really is a sincere guy, his heart really is in the right place.
He's not the enemy, he's just this guy who hosted the website for the Vega+ people, and somehow rather than everyone who has a reasonable gripe with them taking it out on them, some people have decided to make him the figure head, and he really isn't.
He's just this guy who hosted their website, and really wanted the project to succeed.
It feels really wrong the abuse he's got for that. Some moderation decisions haven't helped, but it's a shame he's even in the position where that even matters.

Indiegogo threatened that months ago, February I think, giving them until the end of May to deliver the Vega+.
There's been a flurry of updates from them hinting at emails being sent to everyone to confirm delivery, but no one seems to be claiming to have actually received one...

Either they really are delivering, and it's just very slow, or they are trying to buy time and are really going to deliver in a few weeks, or this is becoming a criminal level of deception. :(

They're stalling.
The last tactic was to state on Thursday that emails would start to be sent to backers confirming shipping, but...the emails wouldn't be coming via Indiegogo as they didn't have the capacity to send them and the emails would take up to 48 hours to come through.
And it's now Saturday, and no one appears to have received anything.
