Fujitsu Laptop Broken Screen - Recommedation Required

USA Yankee (Competent) posted this on Tuesday, 18th March 2008, 19:24

My daughter has damaged the screen on a 3 month old Fujitsu Siemens Model Amilo Li 1705.
Can anyone recommend any companies please to replace the screen.
I have a quote from a company in London of £160 but would prefer a company someone has used and has some trust in.
PCWorld quote me £400 the laptop cost £425, I did laugh.

Thanks

I`d grab that quick before they realise their mistake.
A quick look at ebay shows that many that could be suitable cost £130. There is also the cost of return delivery to have the screen fitted.

Even if you turned the laptop into a pseudo desktop £160 would not buy you much of a desktop screen

Wow that was very good!! Proves that PC world are jokers.

Just out of polite interest, how might your daughter show her remorse/ gratitude?
Depending on her age, it might be a lot of house chores.

all the best jemma
