Page 1 of what type of cable to connect monitor...

what type of cable to connect monitor speakers to the sound card do I need? I need the exact term as I need to order it on the net and don`t want to buy the wrong thing. Thanks

I`m assuming its a standard 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable you need. (I`d be very surprised if its any different to that). I`m also assuming its not an LCD TV, since some of those might be phono sockets instead of 3.5mm

If its a normal monitor it`d probably be something like this one:

But without the monitor details its a bit difficult to be sure.

Cheers Miles, I think you are right. The monitor is just a normal LCD 17", the connector point is green (as in the sound card exit). I will order one from Ebay as I will probably pay less P&P
