Page 1 of saving online video
PCs & Mobiles Forum
there is a video file, a 20minute episode from the s4c website, welsh ch4. its a show my dad watches every week, chapel singing i think, but he was out this past sunday so missed it. we dont have any way of recording it. i have just gone onto the website and clicked on the link for the programme and it opened up in media player. it looked pretty good quality so i was wandering how i could get it so i could put it onto a dvd/divx.
if it had been youtube etc i would have been ok as ive done that before, but i dont see any obvious way of saving this.
hope someone can help, the programme was from his old village in wales.
cheers

The new version of Free Download Manager has the ability to download online video. I have not tried it yet but you can get it from http://www.freedownloadmanager.org/.
i have just tried the freedownloadmanager. when i went to the s4c page the only option was clicking the link, as i say it opened up media player. i had a look in there and there were no links etc, i did find an address, url is it? but when i put this into freedownloadmanager it wouldnt do anything. i tried a youtube clip and that worked fine. any ideas?
cheers
